Run, jog or walk in your community or from the comfort of your home, all at your own pace. A virtual run can take place anywhere—on a road, path, trail, or on a treadmill. Outdoor or indoor, it’s your choice.

RUN KIT DELIVERY

Participants will be mailed their run kit to the mailing address they listed on their registration form. Participants are required to provide their complete mailing address including unit number if living in a multi unit building. Failure to provide your full mailing address will result in a delay of delivery and additional shipping fees to resend the run kit.

If you registered before April 24, 2021 your run kit will be shipped beginning the week of April 26. If you registered after April 26, 2021 your run kit will be sent out to you within two weeks of your registration date.

We will be shipping run kits via Fleet Optics in the GTA. Outside of the GTA, we will be shipping via Canada Post and are unable to guarantee delivery times. Expedited and international shipping options are available at time of registration.

SHARE YOUR VIRTUAL RUN

We want to see how you do your 10k or your 10k Challenge your way! Share your run photos on Instagram stories and tag @campoochigeas! Make sure to use the hashtags #SL10K and #WeRunForOoch when you do so.

REPORT YOUR VIRTUAL RUN RESULTS

Beginning on May 9, 2021, you will be able to upload your Sporting Life Virtual 10k Run or your Sporting Life Virtual 10k Challenge results onto the Race Roster Result Pages.

To upload your run results you will need your registration confirmation number and your last name OR you can use your Race Roster login. You can also upload your results via your participant dashboard on Race Roster.

It is easy to upload your results.We recommend that you download and use the RunKeeper app as it will automatically upload your run result to our results page. It is free to download the app and it’s really easy and fun to use. You can download or update the ASICS Runkeeper app here on Apple or Android.

You can also use a fitness training app or watch, such as Garmin, Apple or Strava, to track your distance. Then simply enter that distance you ran/walked onto the Sporting Life Virtual 10k Results Page on Race Roster. If you don’t use a fitness tracking app or watch, no worries, go ahead and use the honour system and simply enter your distance.
If you are entered in the Sporting Life Virtual 10k Challenge please note that Runkeeper does not upload each of your 10k segments to the Challenge results page automatically. You will need to do manually upload each 10k run.

After you upload your run results, you will be able to print your official finisher’s certificate and share it on social media!

TRACKING YOUR TRAINING

Join the Sporting Life 10k Virtual Run Strava Club! You will be able to share your runs, routes, encourage and support others participating in the Sporting Life Virtual 10k. Use the message board to connect with other runners in the #SL10K community—after all, we’re all in this together while apart to support Camp Ooch.

MEDALS and iTabs

Every registered participant will receive a Finisher Medal in their Sporting Life Virtual 10k run kit that is mailed to your mailing address. Customize your medal by ordering an iTAB, a small insert engraved with your name and finishing time that fits neatly into a recess on the back of your medal. You will receive your iTab by mail 6-8 weeks after the race.
